LASAA organizes and sponsors a wide variety of athletic events geared towards the Law Enforcement community. Some of our events are only available to our members, some are open to all Law Enforcement, and some are open to the public. We don't sell or share any information we obtain on our website.

The LASAA hosts the annual "Fall Classic" basketball tournament each November and has a spring league each February

Membership is available to all LASD employees and retirees.

United States Police and Fire Championships

LASAA proudly supports the United States Police and Fire Championships (formerly the Western States Police and Fire Games and California Police Olympics). United States Police & Fire Championships are scheduled for June 2 – 9, 2018 in San Diego County. Athletes representing law enforcement, firefighters, and officers from corrections, probation, border protection, immigration and customs from across the country compete in Olympic-style sports in 35 venues through-out the County.
