The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Athletic Association (LASAA) organizes and sponsors a wide variety of athletic events geared towards the law enforcement community. Some events are only available to our dues paying members, some are open to all employees and members of recognized law enforcement agencies, and some are open to the public.
LASAA membership is restricted to employees of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department or employees of other law enforcement agencies as the Board of Directors approves.
Monthly or annual dues are collected from LASAA members. These dues are used to finance venues, officials, scorekeepers, medical/training staff, and insurance of sponsored events. Membership dues are tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) organization. Non-LASAA members pay a participation fee for any event in which they register. These fees are non-tax deductible.
